  • St. Patrick’s Day Parade

    Members of Local 170 and their families participate in the annual St. Patricks Day Parade, which takes place in Worcester.

    Parade Committee

    Our Volunteer Parade Committee does an outstanding job decorating our float for the St. Patrick's Day Parade and also coordinates a group of enthusiastic marches to participate in the parade.  It's a fun day for everyone!

  • Scholarship Fund Annual Golf Tournament

    Local 170's Annual Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Heritage County Club in Charlton, MA beginning at 7:30 AM.  Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, closest to the pin and first, second and third place teams.  Donations:  $100.00 per player or $400.00 per foursome, which includes green fees, carts, dinner and prizes.  All proceeds directly benefit Local 170's Scholarship Fund.  Single golfers are always invited; we will match up.  Remember to reserve your spot early!  If you have any questions, please call the Union Hall at 508-799-0551.

  • Scholarship Fund Motorcycle Poker Run

    Local 170's Motorcycle Poker Run will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Local 170, 330 Southwest Cutoff (Rte. 20) Worcester, MA.  Registration will begin at 10:00 AM; $20.00 per driver and $10.00 per rider.  The ride begins at 11:15 and the final destination is at Halligan's Royale Bar, Rte. 20, Auburn, MA.  A buffet lunch will be served!

     

  • Lucky Day in May Raffle

    The drawings for the Lucky Day in May Raffle will take place on Sunday, June 3, 2012 during the Local's Monthly Meeting.  A very special thank you to the Scholarship Fund Committee and to everyone who participated in this fundraiser!  All proceeds benefit Local 170's Scholarship Fund.

    Our Summer Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Local 170's Union Hall, 330 Southwest Cutoff, Worcester, MA.  Volunteers and donors are always welcome.  Come and give the gift of life; the need is constant and the gratification is instant!

  • Holidays with Heart Food Drives

    During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays members of Local 170 and their families helped to deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to various shelters within Worcester County.  A very special thank you to everyone who participated in the Holiday with Heart Food Drives this past holiday season!
